Honorable Funeral

I know this has been an extremely sad time for all of us, and it has been quite an event getting Grams funeral arrangement together. This was quite an honor for her and our family.
I want to thank everyone from the visits at the hospital to the planning her program. I know Mom would be happy knowing everyone was there for her, and that she was able to hear all of our last thoughts.
Know one will ever know what she really must have gone through this last year, I am sure Dad knows more than anyone. I have never known any one as brave and strong as she was, we are all privledged to have been a part of her life.
I know Mom truely loved every one, and she never judged anyone. My personal goal is to be more like her.
I am sorry if anyone has had bad feelings through this, and I am sorry if I caused them. It was an extremely difficult week prior to her passing, because we felt so helpless trying to get her the proper care.
John and Melody has ben there through it all, and I want them to know how much we appreciate their time and effort in caring for Mom.
I also want to thank South Salt Lake Fire Fighters and Police officers, and the Mayor and City Council for all your thoughts and prayers and part in her funeral service, you gave her an honorable send off.
Please keep Grandpa in your thoughts and prayers this will be a hard time for him, we need to keep things as normal as possible for him as far as his visits and phone calls.
I am going to keep this Blog going for those interseted as to how Grandpa is doing and what we as a family can possibly help him with.

Love Chris

  2. I just want everyone to know I really think you all worked very well together getting the funeral preparations ready. It was so great to be able to gather as family to remember and share with everyone how great of a person Grandma was and how we all love her so much. I'll be praying for everyone,

  3. Over the last three to four years my life has at times been very difficult to handle. There were many many days of heart ache and sadness that came with incredible amounts of stress and plenty of hard to handle choices. Grandma was my strength when I had none of my own. I will miss so much our personal conversations she and I shared. I am incredibly thankful for one last trip to wendover with her. I am also thankful I had the opportunity to hear chris and cheri's goodby letters. I had many of the same feelings but did not quite know how to express them. Grandma always reminded me to find my STRENGTH and that one day I would figure everything out. I know that she is right and I too will strive to be more like her. She was an incredible women!
